Washington, DC (October, 2015)  - It is a well-known and disappointing fact that women still make less than their male counterparts. What is less acknowledged, but just as important, is the money gap that exists in retirement-60 percent of women 65 and older cannot afford to cover their basic needs and 43 percent of women expect to work past age 70 or do not expect to retire.

To highlight the sprawling retirement gender gap and discover ideas and strategies women can use to bridge the retirement disparity, a panel of experts on retirement and women's finances will join the Washington Post's Rodney Brooks and the Indexed Annuity Leadership Council (IALC) on Thursday, October 15 at 9AM (EST) for an in-depth and probing debate.

What: Panel discussion among financial and retirement experts on the unique challenges women face in planning for retirement and strategies they can employ to help plan for a secure retirement.
