National Life Group’s Employee Matching Campaign Donates More than $600,000 to Nonprofits

Share the Good 2020

Montpelier, VT - (December 29, 2020)  National Life Group employees donated a record $304,000 to nonprofits of their choice through the company’s annual Share the Good campaign. The National Life Group Foundation then matched those donations, for a total of $609,452.

Employees are encouraged to donate to up to four nonprofits through the campaign. The company’s Foundation matches up to $2,000 of their donations. The nonprofits that will receive the most in donations are:

  • Vermont Foodbank: $39,532 which is a 70% increase over last year’s donated amount
  • Central Vermont Humane Society: $16,092 which is a 6% increase
  • St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital: $8,172     

In addition to the Share the Good campaign, employees are also encouraged to use 40 hours of paid volunteer time annually to support their communities.
