National Life Group names new deputy chief risk officer

Addison, TX - (August 3, 2023) National Life Group welcomes Tamara Burden, FSA, CERA, CFA, MAAA, as deputy chief risk officer.

Burden brings 22 years of actuarial experience, including a background in actuarial consulting and as a principal with the actuarial consulting firm Milliman. She most recently served as chief risk officer for Liberty Bankers Insurance Group.

Based in National Life’s Addison, Texas office, Burden joins the Chief Financial Officer Senior Leadership Team to support growth and its ongoing mission to serve policyholders.
